Old maps, rubbish customer service. . I've had this product for a year now. First unit had software failure so i had to take it back to the shop after a month. I've tried several times to email binatone to get up to date maps because the ones fitted as standard were probably drawn up by alfred the great. No reply from binatone to any of my emails.
I eventually called their 'customer service' line. Spoke to mr monotone-one-word-answer. The guy sounded really miserable and was clearly trained to be as unhelpful as he could possibly be. I asked what the latest map version is and he couldn't tell me. He said i had to ask 'hong kong'.

No Complaints. I was looking for map updates as we have had a couple of new roads since i bought it, i have never had any problems with this other than new road out of carnoustie,i even went on holiday to ireland and it worked perfect so i don't understand why people are complaining. If anyone can help with updates i would be greatful. .
Basic But Good Product. Very basic product but functions well. Although there is no option to update maps in the future. I paid extra for the postage to make sure it arrived in time for fathers day. It just about made it. Seller answered my emails promptly. .

Bought as a christmas present looked the part was cheap and good value arrived when stated and as stated on the website. It is so easy to use i love it the car charger does not work which is a shame i use the car all the time. Good Buy For the Missus. Just what my other half needs and so easy for her to use. Should get her where she needs to go.
