Also, it may or may not work if your car has a solar reflect windscreen which can interfere with the gps reading. So contact your car manufacturer to find out if ths system is okay. Alternatively, you could have to puchase an external/ remote internal antena.

I had a binatone 430 as a back up sat nav in a second car and basically it was useless. Following that experience i wasnt confident that any sat nav would do what it claimed on the box, but the snooper indago most certainly does. It locks onto signal very quickly, is accurate and packed with simple to access features. It is a robust metal cased model feels like a quality build and comes with good windscreen mount and pouch.
It is without doubt one of the best out there, but what sold it for me was snooper's speed camera database which came with a lifetime free subscription for updates. This is a limited offer, but i find it very useful, not so i can scream past schools at kicking out time, but to be aware in unknown locations where the accident black spots and areas of concern are. I have no problem in recommending the snooper indago, a quality product at a good price.

Negative Review of Snooper Indago Euro Plus 3.5" Sat Nav with UK and Western Europe Maps
I've owned an indago (as it was originally known - now a 'snooper' indago) for about ten years (it seems, anyway a very long time). When i bought this unit it was the best sat-nav / camera detector that money could buy. I leave it plugged in to the car and use it every day. In the first years of ownership it did excellent work and, as other reviewers have said, was well-constructed, gave good routes and was very reliable in terms of updates for the camera database.
In the last couple of years, all that has deteriorated (maybe now it's owned by snooper?. I've had to return it twice for a problem in the several years i've owned it. That's no problem in an age of built-in redundancy. But the most recent time i sent it back (due to battery failure) it came back to me seemingly okay - battery worked and updates worked - but since i got it back it's been nothing but trouble.
