Good Value For Money. I've never used a sat-nav before. To be honest i've never had need of one and still don't need one enough to pay for a garmin or tom tom. Yes i bought this one because it was affordable. I was pleasantly surprised. The display is big and clear. The range of voices is quite good. There is some inconsistencies in the advance warning given and it treats mini-roundabouts as ordinary junctions. Because i've never used any other i can't say if this is normal. The route re-calculation is very quick. In the top left corner of the screen there is a visual display of the next manoeuvre and the distance to that manoeuvre so the inconsistency in advance verbal warning is less of a worry. You can select shortest, fastest greenest or easiest routes and it's even possible to set it up for lorries (avoiding roads that are too narrow etc)the manual isn't much good. It concentrates on all the additional features that i don't need. There is very little about the sat-nav program. Having said that, it is so easy to find your way around in the navigation program there is very little need to look at the manual. All in all a great device for the money. .

I love this gps - i wanted a large screen - got it with 7" - i didn't want to pay a lot - at £38 this is a steal - it is more than a gps - it plays videos, music etc - but i won't use if for that. The maps are fine - and if you set it up correctly the maps are well displayed. The only very small gripes i have is that it does not show the speed - but it does show everything else - like distance to run, time to run - eta - all very good for this price. It finds the satellites quickly - easy to install and get working - and is probably the most intuitive for entering favourites etc. Top marks.
